CUSTOMLEADZ

All industriesHVAC

Ads for HVAC contractors.

HVAC demand doesn't arrive evenly — it spikes. The first cold snap, the first ninety-five degree day. The phone should be ringing those weeks, not the week afterward. That's a campaign problem, and it's a fixable one.

The reality

What makes hvac different.

01

Your best days are short and hard to predict

Searches can triple when the weather turns. If your budget is flat across the year, you're capped at exactly the moment the money is sitting on the table.

02

Emergency callers pick whoever answers

"AC not blowing cold" is a same-day search. Nobody fills in a form and waits patiently. Being at the top with a tap-to-call button is most of the battle in this trade.

03

The franchises outspend you

You aren't going to out-budget the national names, and you don't need to. You can out-target them — tighter areas, sharper ad copy, and a human answering faster than their call center.

The proof

What I can actually show you.

I don't have an HVAC ad screenshot I'm able to publish yet, so here's what I can show you instead: the HVAC site below is mine, and across the ad accounts I manage — dumpsters, excavation, concrete and more — that's 494 calls and $40K+ in spend handled personally.

Across every account I manage

$40K+

These are totals across every client account I run — dumpsters, excavation, concrete and more — not hvac figures. You can see each individual account's numbers on the proof of work page.

The approach

What I'd run for you.

Weather-responsive budgets

Spend leaned into the heat waves and cold snaps and pulled back through the mild weeks, so the money lands when the searches actually do.

Emergency and replacement kept separate

"AC repair near me" and "new furnace cost" are different intents at very different price points. Separate campaigns, separate pages, separate budgets.

Call-only ads during service hours

When a furnace is out, a tap-to-call ad beats a landing page every time. Scheduled around your real hours so you're not paying for calls that ring out.

Maintenance plans worked in

Every repair lead is also a service-agreement lead. Pages written to raise the plan while you're already in the door, instead of leaving it to a follow-up that never happens.

Straight answers

What hvac owners ask me.

When should I start — before the season or during it?

Before, if you can. Accounts need a few weeks of data to get efficient, and you'd rather that learning period happen in mild weather than during the week everyone's AC dies. Starting mid-spike still works; it just costs a bit more to learn.

Can ads help with maintenance plans, not just repairs?

Indirectly, and it's the most underrated part. Ads buy the repair call; the page and the conversation convert that customer onto a plan. Selling the plan is where a one-time $200 repair becomes years of revenue, so the pages get written with that in mind.

What if I only cover a few towns?

That's an advantage, not a limitation. Tight geographic targeting is cheaper and converts better than a wide net. Small service areas are where independent contractors most reliably beat the franchises on cost per call.
